Professional background:
Lorna Young has been involved in the learning and development of others since 1988, and has continued to develop a great depth of skills and experience over the years.
Lorna first started to design and deliver Management Training courses in 1992 whilst working for the BBC in London. In 1995 Lorna moved to BBC Scotland, to design and run courses, hiring in additional training effort when necessary.
During the years 2000 to 2004 Lorna worked as an internal L&D Consultant within the Internal Market, for clients within the major cities of the UK. Management Coaching work became important to support the BBC's Leadership programme, and when it was decided to recruit managers as internal coaches Lorna became a mentor.
Associates are used by L A Young and all have relevent qualifications and proven experience within their fields.
Lorna's main qualifications are:
- MSc in People & Organisational Development (Salford) - 2001
- British Psychological Society - Level A Certificate in Occupational Testing (1995)
- City & Guilds 730 - Further & Adult Education Training Certificate (1990)
